For every woman planning a breast lift, the question is actual – is it necessary to install implants or will the operation be performed without them? Lift involves not only a simultaneous increase, sometimes you can do without implants. That in some cases even gives a better effect. There are several types of lifting with and without implants. The surgeon makes the decision which one is better to apply in this or that case.

Breast lift techniques

More often, the vertical method of lifting is used, which allows to achieve excellent results. The mammary glands can be well raised, while the nipples can be moved to the desired height. The healing process is better than with other methods, since the skin around the areola is less strained. At the same time, the suture turns out to be thinner, even over time it will not expand, as is the case with the periareolar technique.

When you need a lift using implants, and when not: the pros and cons of operations

Some patients go to a plastic surgeon when the mammary glands are small, but there is a lot of skin. In this case,  the breast is filled with implants, otherwise, a void will form inside, which does not look aesthetically pleasing. To correct this situation, the lift is supplemented with implants.

When planning breast augmentation, the client can discuss all the nuances with a surgeon at a pleminary consultation, and choose the best option: whether it is  enough to improve the shape or it is also necessary to enlarge the volume of the breasts.

If a breast lift is performed without the use of implants, then an improvement in shape can be achieved, but without sufficient elasticity and increase in volume. The negative side includes complications during the recovery period, and the patient will have to temporarily limit her ability to work.

With implants, the breast looks taut, and most importantly, you can achieve the most ideal forms. This method is indicated for women after the end of the lactation period or sudden weight loss, when the mammary glands have lost their previous shape.
